Who we are
Welcome to The Wolfpack Pickleball, a pickleball club and large community of players based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We offer a variety of sessions and pickleball coaching services to cater to all levels of players - from complete beginners to advanced.
The Wolfpack Pickleball was established in 2025 to create more inclusive, fun & competitive pickleball in Canterbury, New Zealand. Brothers Joshua Matthews & Nicholas Matthews have also extended the reach of our community to throughout the South Island and will continue to grow through the North Island and internationally for 2026.

InterClub
InterClub is a 6 round competition consisting of teams of 6 players, playing 5 matches each per round. Juciao Interclub 2026 begins Saturday 14th February 2026.
League Night

League Night *
Our Salty Dinks League Night is contested on Tuesday nights from 7pm-9pm and begins on Tuesday 10th February 2026 and concludes on Tuesday 26th May 2026. Players enter as pairs and play non-timed games to 15. Individuals are encouraged to enter with Joshua Matthews able to pair those players into a suitable partnership. We have designated DUPR weeks, POTN (Pickler of the Night), MVP (Most Valuable Pickler) and prizes to give out each week thanks to our naming sponsor Salty Dinks.
Dink with Josh
Dink with Josh are daytime Skills, Drills & Games based sessions facilitated by Joshua Matthews. Sessions are run Wednesday thru to Saturday on a weekly basis.
Coaching - 1 on 1 & Small Group
Joshua Matthews is our Head Coach of The Wolfpack Pickleball and is available for 1 on 1 Coaching from our newest players all the way through to 4.0 players looking to break into the next phase of their progression. Only 3 spots available per week.
Group Coaching Clinics
Joshua Matthews runs majority of our fortnightly Group Coaching Clinics with assistance from the region’s top players and coaches. Creator of the Foundation, Framing, 3rd Shot, Power Clinics. This is a great way to learn the game of pickleball within the community environment.
